Visiting Bluegrass Daylily GardensBLOOM FEST 2012 and OPEN GARDENS:
Open gardens for BLOOM FEST 2012 will be June 29th & 30th - July 7th and 8th. Friday and Saturday
hours
are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Sunday hours are 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The Gardens
are also open by appointments. Please
call ahead for a time that will be convenient for all.
Our peak bloom is the last week of June-first week of July. We love to
have visitors stroll around the gardens. I enjoy talking to everyone
and trading stories and secrets about gardening.
Bluegrass
Daylily Gardens is located just north of Shelbyville, KY, about 20-30
minutes East of Louisville. From Shelbyville and US 60, take US 53
North five miles. We are on the left at 4122 LaGrange Road.
If you plan to visit, please contact us ahead of time. We would not want to miss you and we can give you detail directions.
While
you are at the gardens, we will dig your plants so you can take them
with you. If the weather does not permit or you prefer to have them
shipped to your home, shipping is free.
Gift Certificates are available if you cannot decide or would like to make someone special very happy.
