Visiting Bluegrass Daylily GardensBLOOM FEST 2010 and OPEN GARDENS:
Open gardens for BLOOM FEST 2010 will be June 18 &
19. July 2 & 3 and 10. Friday and Saturday hours
are 9 to 6. The Gardens are also open by appointments. Please
call ahead for a time that will be convenient for all. PLEASE NOTE: The Gardens will NOT be open June 25-27
Our peak bloom is the last week of June-first week of July. We love to
have visitors stroll around the gardens. I enjoy talking to everyone
and trading stories and secrets about gardening.
Bluegrass
Daylily Gardens is located just north of Shelbyville, KY, about 20-30
minutes East of Louisville. From Shelbyville and US 60, take US 53
North five miles. We are on the left at 4122 LaGrange Road.
If you plan to visit, please contact us ahead of time. We would not want to miss you and we can give you detail directions.
While
you are at the gardens, we will dig your plants so you can take them
with you. If the weather does not permit or you prefer to have them
shipped to your home, shipping is free.
